Nordic Subcontracting Manager - Copenhagen [Denmark]

Your mission…

As the Nordic Subcontracting Manger, you are responsible for the Nordic Subcontracting team for all divisions in the Nordic countries. In this role you are responsible for ensuring the defined level of service and costs, aiming for the best customer service and quality while optimizing total landed costs and time to market. Your main KPI’s are Service level and Stock Quality. To do this you will foster a collaboration mind-set and innovation, leading to internal and external customer satisfaction.


Reporting to Nordic Physical Distribution Director, your key job accountabilities are:

  • Coordinate the co-packing activities, infrastructure, and processes in order to guarantee the timely and correct availability, quality and communication.
  • Coordinate the co-packing activities taking care of the optimization of flows and procurement parameters to secure best production execution and correct POS material purchase.
  • Size, follow up and optimize cost throughout the co-packing activity (Labelling, POS procurement and Display production).
  • Define, lead the strategy and the execution of co-packing for the entity, through the animation of external co-packers and in-house production unit. Lead and track the Key Performance Indicators.
  • Participate in projects impacting Supply Chain Co-packing which are initiated by the divisions.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of best practices, the achievement of objectives. Pilot and follow the progress of improvement plans.
  • Coordinate the Co-packing activities with the internal and external actors and relay the industrial constraints to them.
  • Recruit, develop and manage the team, taking care of the transfer of know-how and of the development of expertise. Implement organizational changes.


Your profile...

  • Master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics or similar.
  • Ideally, you have already gained some experience within Supply Chain, app. 3 years.
  • You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to work proactively and prioritize efficiently.
  • You have good communication skills and are able to communicate to a diverse group (warehouse/planning/customer service).
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiatives and drive actions.
  • You are equally motivated by teamwork as working individually.
  • You have advanced Excel skills. SAP or other ERP system knowledge is seen as an advantage.
